Your Home For The weekend

You can’t help but notice you’ve already slowed down a notch or two, as you drive through the gates at Mangrove Yoga.

That sense of inner peace when you step out of the car isn’t by chance.

It is because Mangrove Yoga has been the home to yoga and meditation for more than 40 years, established originally as an ashram all those years ago.
This peaceful and secluded haven is surrounded by native bushland and only 1.5hrs drive from Sydney.

Meals Cooked With Love Straight From The Garden

You’ll enjoy three wholesome and delicious vegetarian meals daily.
Good wholesome food is an essential part of your nurturing weekend away, that includes Chai and cake on Sunday!
Special dietary requirements can be accommodated for, e.g. gluten/wheat free, dairy free, nut free, vegan.

What can you expect

Prepare to unplug, slow down, relax and immerse yourself in yoga and mantra meditation practices that shift you from the busyness of your mind to deep into your heart space.

You’ll begin each day with a yoga class of postures, breathing practices and meditation.

A midmorning session of mantra meditation followed by the much-loved Yoga Nidra at midday and end the day with a candle lit meditation.

There is also plenty of “YOU TIME” being scheduled in this weekend escape!

You may like to do nothing or maybe you fancy:

A little time relaxing in the garden with a good book, or friend...

Or is a gentle bushwalk more to your liking?

Perhaps a swim in the creek.

Oh, let’s not forget there is even the opportunity for some retail therapy “with a difference.” A scented candle ~ body oils ~ an inspiring read.

About Chetana

My three big passions ~ being immersed in spiritually rich cultures, delving into the practices of yoga and meditation and sharing both the above with others.

I've been an avid traveller since my 20's and over the years it's shifted from adventurous travels of rafting the Zambezi and conquering mountain peaks to exploring the inner and out landscapes of myself and spiritually rich cultures.

I immersed myself in yogic philosophy and lifestyle for the better part of 10 years living within an ashram environment in Australia, India, and Buddhist Centre in Nepal.
And I now have the pleasure of sharing these wisdom teachings, with others.

When not leading spiritual yoga/meditation retreats in Australia, Bali, India or Nepal, you'll find me teaching at Manly Yoga and also weekly classes at South Narrabeen on the Northern Beaches, Australia.

Or playing my tanpura (Indian classical instrument) on the beach at sunrise.
