Pre Natal Yoga with Radha

Classes: Thursday 6.15 pm - 7.30 pm and Saturday 9.45 am - 11 am

 

Do you know studies have shown that women who practise yoga for at least 30 minutes, three times per week have an easier time with birth and parenting?

Being pregnant is a golden opportunity for you to connect with your inner self and your unborn child.

By connecting within, you’ll naturally develop your innate mothering instinct, which will support you through pregnancy, birth and into parenting. 
 
The friendly class setting at Manly Yoga creates a sense of community amongst mums-to-be. Our small classes also allow the teacher to meet the differing needs of each student and create an individualised program where necessary. 
 

The prenatal classes at Manly Yoga are especially designed to

  • Reduce physical and emotional stress

  • Alleviate some of the common discomforts and emotional turmoil often experienced in pregnancy

About the teacher

Radha practised yoga throughout her 3 pregnancies. Since her pregnancies she has taught prenatal yoga consistently for over 10 years. She is also the prenatal yoga module co-ordinator on the Diploma of Yoga Teacher Training at Mangrove Yoga Ashram.

Along with her practical wisdom borne of experience, Radha also brings skills and knowledge as a trained natural birth educator. (She Births). It is Radhas mission in life to support women to have a calm and empowered pregnancy and birthing. That’s why throughout every class her students learn calming birthing skills over and over again so that those skills become automatic and innate when the big day arrives.

When can you start attending pre natal yoga classes?

From 13 weeks  (earlier if you have already been an MY student)

 

Do you need prior yoga experience?

Nope, all levels of experience are warmly welcomed

 

Do I need to book?

It’s a good idea, particularly if you are coming to the Saturday morning class, which has limited space. You can book by clicking here.

Even if you have booked a spot, please come at least 10 minutes early on your first class so that you’ve got time to fill in a health form, and have a little chat with Radha.
 

Do I need to bring anything?

No, we’ve got spare yoga mats, props and blankets. Just wear comfortable clothing.
 

How much?

One class per week: the best value pass is a 10 class pass $180 ($18 per class)

Two or more classes per week: the best value pass is the one month unlimited $135
